| ASR's HR Software Solution Enhances HR Service Delivery at Deloitte (Ireland) In Ireland, Deloitte & Touche and its subsidiaries and associated partnerships are member firms of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and services are provided by Deloitte & Touche. Deloitte & Touche is among the nation's leading professional services firms, providing audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services with 875 people in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Employer of ChoiceKnown as an employer of choice for innovative human resources programmes, Deloitte is dedicated to helping its clients and its people excel. Deloitte has received many awards for the quality of their work as well as their work environment. For the fourth year running Deloitte has been named among the Top 50 Best Companies to work for in 2006. Deloitte Ireland’s HR function includes a team of 11 based at the Head Office in Dublin, servicing all three offices, Dublin, Cork and Limerick. In 2004 a working group was established to select a HR system. This consisted of Orla Graham, Head of HR, Helen Cahill, Senior Manager in HR and John Gray, Head of IT and Operations. As a leading supplier of consultancy services, Deloitte used its’ experience in helping clients to identify and implement systems to put together a comprehensive specification of their key requirements. Helen commented: "We had undertaken comprehensive analysis before inviting HR software suppliers in to demonstrate their solutions. We were also aware that one of our competitors had been using ASR's HR software solution successfully so ASR immediately became a serious contender very early on in the procurement process." Helen added: "The person from ASR who demonstrated their HR Software solution was extremely knowledgeable on their products and was well able to cope with the level of questioning directed at him from members of our project team. He understood what Deloitte Ireland was looking to achieve. Furthermore, he used his experience in working with other blue chip companies to inspire confidence in the procurement team to the extent that ASR's HR Software solution was definitely the system for us." Glowing Customer ReferenceHelen continues: "ASR offered Deloitte Ireland a flexible solution, an in-built report writing tool, an intuitive end user interface backed up by a glowing customer reference." Deloitte Ireland purchased ASR's core HR and e-HR module. Complex Data AnalysisASR HR Software Reporting tool has been of significant value in supporting the complex data requirements needed for salary and bonus reviews in Deloitte. Performance ManagementHelen who has completed all of ASR's recommended training courses has used the skills picked up to utilise ASR's flexible configuration tool inherent in ASR’s software. Constantly looking to evolve the system Helen has created a Performance Management tool known as egEms. One of ASR's consultants is also going to be involved in some additional consultancy work around Deloitte Ireland online performance management programme. Recently, Deloitte launched flexible benefits for their management group using the ASR self service Intranet module. Each manager was given an allowance from which they could purchase a range of additional benefits, including health insurance, AVCs, additional life assurance and additional annual leave. In order to make the purchases, the screens were dependent on complex calculations, for example salary and hours in the case of annual leave and age and gender and age in the case of life assurance. Deloitte worked with one of ASRs implementation executives to create these screens using fields and data already on the core data manager module. A pilot was carried out and on screen guidance information was then included. The project was a resounding success, users were happy with the system and accurate comprehensive reports and statements were provided to all relevant parties within a very fast timeframe. Flexible SoftwareAs Helen comments "The system has greatly enhanced HR service delivery, however we do recognise there is so much more we can do with the system and with ASR's help we look forward to moving things forward in the very near future. We operate in a dynamic business environment and recognise the importance of moving forward and stretching the boundaries. Deloitte Ireland has already realised a lot of our objectives, but the plan is not to stop here. Future plans include integrating data flow between our ASR systems and our financial management and other systems to support the new starter and other processes. The ASR team is very professional and reliable. In fact they have been super and look forward to developing our relationship with ASR."
