Recently, Deloitte launched flexible benefits for their management group using the ASR Self-service intranet module. Each manager was given an allowance from which they could purchase a range of additional benefits, including health insurance, AVCs, additional life assurance and additional annual leave. In order to make the purchases, the screens were dependent on complex calculations, for example salary and hours in the case of annual leave and age and gender and age in the case of life assurance. Deloitte worked with one of ASRs implementation executives to create these screens using fields and data already on the core data manager module. A pilot was carried out and on screen guidance information was then included. The project was a resounding success, users were happy with the system and accurate comprehensive reports and statements were provided to all relevant parties within a very fast timeframe.
