core Payroll system covers all basic payroll aspects including automatic
SSP, SMP, Court Orders, Tax credits, Student Loan repayments and NI

and reporting, ASR's basic HR and Payroll system provides everything
payroll users could need.
Our
core Payroll software can be expanded with additional modules which

ensures that any changes are fully audited complete with time, data, who made
the changes, what the changes were, new and old values, on-line or extract prints
and archiving. Payroll archiving provides users with an unlimited payslip history

ASR's
Payroll software caters for all National Insurance tables and does not
allow the user to input invalid codes, making entering data a fool-proof
process. NI numbers are also checked for valid formatting, and the Payroll
system will issue temporary NI numbers for any missing NI numbers. The
Payroll software automatically corrects the annual basis at the end
of the year for directors' NI contributions, and can even perform back
calculations of NI automatically. All aspects of SMP are managed accordingly
by ASR's Payroll system, but the software does allow users to set up
company maternity pay if you pay in addition to the statutory amounts.
The Payroll system will also calculate SSP entitlements for any qualifying
week, and will alert you should an employee be excluded for any reason.
HR and
Payroll Systems
With
ASR's integrated Payroll system, keeping track of holiday entitlements
is simple. Holidays are accrued by time, money or both based on the
company's holiday year and HR can find out holidays taken, remaining
entitlement, total amount due and any holidays carried forward from
the previous year quickly and easily. If used with the Working Time
Directive module (an additional module available for ASR's Payroll software),
the Payroll software can also calculate holiday value under new legislation
based on average pay.
